Some dreams do come true! Fox Star Studios’ turned the dreams to reality for Chinna Kaakka Muttai and Periyya Kaakka Muttai. Child artist Ramesh (12) & Vignesh(14) who are big fans of the cricket sensation MS Dhoni had always been vocal about their love for the cricketer. When Fox Star Studios’ understood about their undying adoration for the Indian Captain they instantly made arrangements to surprise the kids by getting them to meet their Thala MS Dhoni. Ramesh & Vignesh along with the director (Manikandan) were flown down to Mumbai to meet Dhoni (Location DY Patil Stadium). To the kids surprise Dhoni not only congratulated them but also praised a couple of sequences from the film. By the end of the meeting Dhoni was mighty charmed by the cute antics & innocence of the kids. The kids had a jolly good time interacting with their favorite cricketer and returned back with lots of good memories.

Kaakka Muttai is presented by Fox Star Studios and produced by Dhanush & National award winning director Vetri Maaran. The film has been directed by Manikandan, with music by GV Prakash.

Kaakka Muttai’ is a quirky comedy with a strong social message. The film is about the adventures of two street kids for their first bite of pizza, two carefree slum boys are consumed by the desire to taste this new-fangled dish called ‘pizza’. Realizing that one pizza costs more than their family’s monthly income, they begin to plan ways to earn more money – inadvertently setting in motion an adventure that will involve the entire city.
