Arnold Schwarzenegger is a Protective Father

terminator-genisys-2015-poster-wallpaperHe said “I’ll be back” and ending the wait for the fan boys, Arnold Schwarzenegger returns to the Terminator franchise in upcoming release – Terminator Genisys. This movie opens in the future and then we see John Connor sending Kyle Reese back to save Sarah Connor.

When asked if he felt it was strange to return to the series, he said, “ It was kind of like you slip into that character, and the only thing you have to be careful about is do you play the Terminator and therefore do you play the Protector, or do you play the Protector and therefore you’re also the Terminator because you protect? Like in this case I protect Sarah Connor, but anything that is coming close to her, or is threatening her I terminate. So I’m the Terminator in some ways, and I’m the Protector in another. So you have to be careful how you play that in each moment. This is why it’s important that you have really good communication with the director, that you, make him aware of it. Be very careful that you don’t go too strong, but then communicate the kind of fatherly protector, make sure we get that across.”

But what we are told is that Arnold is not only an accomplished actor, bodybuilder, producer, director and politician but is also a loving and overprotective father.

What helped him communicate the emotions of being protective to perfection was the fact that he has two daughters. Elaborating on the same, he said, “My first daughter was born when we did “Total Recall” I remember in Mexico, and so she’s now twenty-five years old. So when you grow up, and when you’re father of two daughters, I think you learn a lot about how to be protective.”

Bull Terrier Nasa becomes the Lucky Mascot of Terminator

Releasing in India on July 3rd, Terminator Genisys will witness the return of the iconic Arnold Schwarzenegger in this action packed entertainer. But the great thing about this film is that while it is on such a huge scale, as some of the scenes that have been shot are massive, the heart of it is this beautiful story about relationships.

But a new relationship that the entire cast and crew formed during the shoot schedule was when they met Nasa, a small pit bull/terrier mix dog that was rescued by the filmmakers and later adopted by Director Alan Taylor.

Nasa was found on the way to shooting an important scene at the facilities that NASA (the institute) have in Louisiana and he quickly became the lucky mascot of the production. Nasa was abandoned on the side of the road after losing his family in a car accident. But the constant wagging of his tail and a permanent smile on his black and white patched face was testimony to his rebirth into the Terminator Genisys family which the team considered a good omen for a movie.
